Aww Geesh, I hope not. The weather actually has been decent. We had some flurries Saturday but nothing stayed, then it rained. And to think it's only November, Sheesh.

Re: 1978 MFG Gypsy Rebuild

I got these puppies in the mail today. I found them on ebay. I always wanted a set and won't buy new ones because they are too expensive. I have been trying to win an auction for these for a couple of years now. I can't believe no else even bid on these. I'm thinking what's wrong with them, but they look just fine. But now that I have them, what the heck am I going to do with them. lol. Do I want to drill holes for them?

I also found this near mint Mercury brochure for my motor. :D

All I can say is they look shiny...what are they?

They are bilge blower air vents. Mostly used in I/O but can be used to get some fresh air into the bilge area to disperse fumes. A hole has to be drilled and they go over the hole. Usually a 3'' hole is average.

Merry Christmas back to you all. I hope Santa brought you all your toys that you wanted. May the New Year find you all happy and healthy. I am spending the holidays where I have my boat stored. I had to shovel 8 inches of ice and snow off it. Lots of bad weather this way this year. Yikes.

Re: 1978 MFG Gypsy Rebuild

It's been a very weird winter. Snow storm, then rain. More storms, more rain. I've been spending the winter months planning what to do with the boat, launching boat, fishing, etc. We all have those dreams. In the meantime I still bbq, no matter winter or summer. And I have pictures, so it did really happen. Does anyone else enjoy good bbq food?
