I really like the hull of this rig, but much work needs to be done...
Deep and sturdy. Ya, that will get me where I want to go!
I'm willing and able, but need some direction.
This will be the first of many other posts as I work through my project.
I'm currently working on replacing the windshield which leads into cleaning up the deck and re-painting...
If re-painting, then what did the Holiday look like when new?
The original color seems to be blue, but I do like the green it's been painted.
It's the basic scheme or look of the boat I'm after.
Anyone have pic's or brochures of the original style of the boat?
The console is next.
It seems to have been re-build and way too low (or what I call flat).
A pic of an original dash would be awesome.
I figure to tear out the existing and build a tilted one, add the gauges it should have and have something comfortable to use.
Then, of course, the deck... ya, rotted like most older boats.... plywood... yuck...
We'll get to this question later....
Hope to find some folks to help me.
Thank for at least reading!
Happy 4th to all!!
