i just broke down the motor and re did all the seals, and the carb. bought 2 new spark plugs and motor runs great. BUT getting it to start is got to be one of the hardest things i have ever done. (and i am married LOL). i have set the needle valve on top of the carb to 1 and 1/4 turns cleaned the ignition coil and have 2 power packs that work fine. lots of spark and i believe lots of fuel. still have to fight with it to start. and i have to use a rope over the flywheel to start it cause i don't have a retractable rip cord or starter motor (which i am looking into as we speak). any ideas why it is so hard to start. please let me know. thanks
oh btw can someone give me a parts listing or a link to a site with a starting motor bracket. my engine has a bracket on it, but i dont think it is for the starter. thanks again.
