All right, good news, bad news.

It's been too long since I've stopped by Jas. The SN is absolutely stunning, great work! (In case no one has told you that!)

I'll be going and picking up my 2nd glass boat this weekend! I know you're excited!
The Rinker was going to worth more parting it out than rebuilding the engine. So goes a boat owners life!

We'll be on the water in no time, see you there!

Hey thanks fellas, it was a great quick first run, I do hope to have a good season with this SN!

Brew - I did happen to catch your other thread on your new boat options, all glass:facepalm: Ah well, good job security for the makers of tyvek nuclear fallout suits :becky:

Yah, I'm sure it'll be all good. Super excuse to get the boat out and fly around the lake though!:becky:

Hey, it was beautiful out last night so we went for a quick family boat ride after school. Here's all my shipmates with the first legitimate test run of that stern bench...

Comfortable and room to spare back there, sweet!:joyous:

Course we had to stop for ice cream on the way home, for the kids obviously...

I'll need to do a return visit on a hot summer day for this challenge...

Checked the LU oil too, alllllll good there! Looked and tasted like honey rather than milk. Cool!

Awesome! Glad you got a nice run with no issues afterwards. I changed my lower oil over the weekend and there was a little bit of water in it. Not a ton though and I know I never changed it last season so I'm not going to sweat it for now. I'll check up on it again after some more usage. Hopefully I don't need a reseal. What did that run you $$ ?

Yah, this Sea Nymph is running really well, she'll be a great all around family boat! Though, with the carpet in and the extra vinyl I'm feeling like this boat is leaning a little more towards the ski side of the Fish & Ski. It's kinda nice for worm guts, fish blood and muddy shoes. But, I suppose I unsnap the carpet and keep the bench down I'm all good for that.

The reseal job was $330 with about $280 of that just labor. Though painful, I suppose that's reasonable (marine tech pricing) considering it was a FULL reseal. I shouldn't need to even think about that lower unit for a very long time (along with the water pump job I did).

Oh man, McKenna and Jennifer are really very pretty ladies! I've married and fathered out of my league!

Ethan and Ryan are looking particularly goofy in that photo, more like their father:facepalm:

You got that right!

I really wish I would have ran some video of when I pushed that throttle pulling away from the dock, they were whooping and hollaring like we were on a roller coaster, super fun!:becky:

Great moments and memories there. What ended up being the problem with LU?
