Great build JAS! And your a Mathews Guy too! I love the attention to detail, and the minor things like the upholstry, and LED's, the try at the wooden dash.... Very good looking build.

Hey, thanks for the kind words JV:becky:

---------------------------------------------

Man, it's been a busy summer so far!

We've had the SN out a bunch fishing n' stuff, awesome:thumb:

A few days ago I gave the boat her first tubing run with the whole family and a few friends, she ran perfect!

Couldn't find the camera so here are a couple poor quality cell phone shots...

I scored this tube cheap last summer off clist, this was the fist time I actually blew it up, it was huge!!

All three of my kiddos and my nephew got their first ever tubing run that day, I was amped...

The adults in the group seemed to have a tough time holding on to that tube, hehehehe:eek:nthego:

Anyhow, the SN ran awesome and we had a sweet day on the lake!

Sounds like the SN was built to suit

The boat builder must of had clear & ample vision to get it right for ya

Congrats, well done

Sweet! Looks like fun...something I will NOT be able to enjoy in most of our fresh waters down here due to the very high possibility of becoming gator bait...:croc:

AH it warms my heart to see you finally getting to enjoy the fruits of your labors. That's a friggin' huge tube! You could stay dry on that thing (although who would want to do that).

Thanks guys, she's a fun rig for sure! Swapping from full fishing mode with all the Bert's rod holders over to full fun mode is pretty easy too. Pop off the trolling motor, slide out the rod holders, slide in the tracks, and run! She's a nice, comfortable boat for the fish and the ski stuff:thumb:

Ryan's 7th birthday is Friday, he said he wants to go fishing. Love it!

Then we are taking our youth group out tubing over the weekend. Love it!

The SN is going to get some great water time this weekend:becky:

AOK, just got back from a week on Big Manistique Lake up in the U.P., awesome!

The lake was beautiful, weather was fantastic, cabin was comfortable, and our stay was super laid back. Great week all in all!

Here's a few random shots for ya...

What a great, much needed week!

The fishing was stinky. Not a walleye/pike/bass to be seen, anywhere. I tried everything I knew to do but no go. I talked to some of the old retired locals and they have been pulling their boats out to fish other lakes, nothing happening on this one. So, I didn't feel so bad.

But, we could catch 5" perch all day long so the kids loved it!

Tubing was a huge hit, the kiddos were begging to go tubing as much as they were begging for ice cream! I was happy to oblige (on both)!

This Sea Nymph was perfect, fished great, cruised great, tubed great, sweet all around solid boat, very happy with how this rig turned out.

I miss being up there already. Sadly summer has come to an end. I actually saw a few trees with the leaves turning when we were up at the lake and I head back to school starting tomorrow. Man the summer flew by.

I think I'll clean up this Sea Nymph, wrap her up and push her back. She may get out a time or two yet this year but I'd like to focus on the Islander project as best I can.

Anyhow, have a great Sunday guys!

you saw the summer out in style Jas! The dawn shots of the SN are INSANE!

Too bad about the fatties not showing... but kids usually prefer quantity over quality anyway

Very nice, looks like the SN is performing the dual roles in great fashion.

It is sad to see that summer is rapidly closing out. Those four letter words keep getting in the way of water time.

Glad you guys had a good time, if the big fish were biting you may not have had time for the tube so it is all good in the scheme of things. Looking forward to islander progress.
