Pardon the photoshop but tried to keep some personal details, personal. 2nd maiden voyage tonight went great. Made roughly a 38 mile round trip voyage down the local river to go out for dinner and back. A good friend came along in his boat incase of any unforeseen issues with mine but very glad to say no assistance was needed! The boat performed phenomenal, handling was great and all systems worked as they should. Motor ran beautifully with the new fuel pump parts and was surprisingly good on fuel. The oil usage was pretty close to what the manual stated, possibly a tad more. From reading a previous comment on the thread about it maybe injecting too much I had marked it to track its usage but overall it seemed good. If anything the oil system can get some attention this winter when the water freezes over. I’d rather have too much oil than not enough for a two stroke lol.
After 2.5 years I’m happy to say my restoration is finally done. Although I still have a few things I’d like to address and improve such as a bow mount trolling motor and adding a switch for the starter battery the boat is finally seaworthy.
I’d like to thank everyone who contributed to this thread. I may have a few more posts with some upgrades I do but as of now I think I’ll be back to viewing threads instead of posting on mine. Cheers!
