All of a sudden during a test run in the driveway to check for overheating, the engine abruptly quit running after turning it off and restarting it several times.
I checked and found no spark at any of the cylinders.
The main fuse, power packs and stator check out OK.
My question is about the key switch.
Should the resistance measured from black/yellow wire coming from the ignition switch be open, (infinite resistance), to ground when the ignition switch is in the on/run position. I am reading about 2200 ohms between the black/yellow wire coming from the "stator" and ground, when the switch is in the run position.
Notes:
Both power packs four prong connectors are disconnected and the main battery switch is off.
The boat does not have a kill switch.

Thanks in advance.
Tom.
