I have 6 more yards of fabric I bought. I will do the slider curtain, and most likely wrap the triangles in this material. I thought about pillows as well and may still do that!

Do the pillows for sure, the refresh you are doing really does make your boat pop, it takes the age out of the look, matching pillows will just make it that much better.

Ezmobee, the exact thought ran through my head the other day. There will always be something to do!

I should have enough material to do the pillows. If I can find the same fabric I might redo the dinette and vberth in this same pattern.

Got the first triangle wrapped in foam, fabric and in place.

Got the teak trim sanded, stained and varnished. Subtle touch but looks a lot better!

Thanks and the effort going into yours trumps mine.

Decided to just finish smoothing and painting the wall. It's in primer now, will be painted soon. Hatteras off white like the other interior walls.

Got some color on the wall.

Also did a fast polish on the hull and bottom paint touch up at the waterline. The paint wasn't dry yet, which is why it looks spotty. Hopefully that fades away.

Temporary galley floor. Have teak strips that will go down in the future, but for now this will do. Sorry for the bad quality, it was getting dark out.

Mustang,
I just ran through this whole thread for the first time. WOW!!!! What a transformation. Looks incredible. Keep up the great work. Your boat is turning out to be a one of a kind 84 Silverton for sure.

Thanks Greg... It's no restoration but it's a bit of modernizing and updating. Hopefully she will be a clean well maintained boat in the end!

Got rid of this mirrored panel between the galley and salon and went with some sapele. Old photo: Now:

I have a 4x8 sheet of ribbon striped sapele coming next week. The goal is to get the plywood you see next to the steps done, the backrest a to the dinette seats, and the wall to the vberth behind the dinette done. With these finished, the only real thing left to do in the main living area is carpet and upholstery on the dinette.

Spent an hour and a half taking glue off this wall and getting some paint on it. The paint matches the other galley wall. It's not the best job, but it's light years better than the old pealing stinky wallpaper the PO had on there.

Got the paper back veneer on and started coating it. Looking ok so far, but there are some bubbles in it that I think are caused by my adhesive.
