Threw some of the floorbards in just to see how they were looking. I like it. They look loose in the pictures but once they are screwed down they should be nice and tight. Another round of JB Weld to finish filling in the holes, some sanding on the JB and the bottom and on comes the paint!!! Busy weekend ahead!

Looking real good Tig. What are you planning on using for flotation?

I have a case of pool noodles, and some sheets of foam, made out of the same stuff as the noodles. A guy I know has been ripping them out of packing crates and bringing them home for me. All they do is break down the crates and throw it in the trash. FREE Flotation!!! The best kind!

Ok, busy and productive day. Got the boat hung last night. Started early this morning prepping the bottom, ended up finding quite a bit of corrosion under the paint where it sits on the runners, including 1 small hole. I will plug it with a rivet and some JB weld in the morning. Here it hung up, including the one where the bridal slipped while I was inside leaning a bit too much to one side while masking off the consoles. My ribs still hurt!!

Here are the vents that are a metallic blue. I am also painting the frame for the rub rail and the base for the bow seats this blue.IMG_20121013_162015.jpgIMG_20121013_162022.jpgIMG_20121013_173137.jpg

Ather busy day in the paint barn. Masked and painted the trim around the rub rail. The good: the trim looks great, The bad: now the rub rail itself doesn't look so good. I am going to have to wait awhile to replace that. It is functional and I am quickly running out of time before the move. Got the clear sprayed today. Minus a couple of runs it looks great. We were able to tape them out almost completely. Luckily they were on the first coat and by the third coat you could only see them if you knew where they were. After it hangs for a week I will wet sand it with some 1500 and then polish it. I can't wait to start putting things back together!!

Well the boat is back in the driveway, got the motor and outdrive in. The fuel tank is in, foam in, and the floorboards. here are a few pictures from the weekend with the foam and engine in, but havent taken any of the floorboards yet. Sun seems to go away before I am finished working and haven't been able to take any new ones.
