Just checking in, it all looks fantastic! I love the interior the way you've designed the alternating blue/white, quite unique. Great name for the boat too.

Thanks LL, the white is actually a light grey.

I know what you mean LL, I have cheap reading glasses every where, can't see anything with out them. My hearing aids will be here next week. (not Kidding)

All I can say is DAYMN, she looks good. BTW - spill some beer, more like christening with champagne but no stain like coffee. :)

Do you happen to have an end pic of the vinyl floor trim you used down the center? I've looked at my HD and haven't found it.

Hey GA, here's the pictures of the floor trim, hammered finish aluminum. You should be able to read the SKU off the package. I run a very thin bead of sealant ( similar to 4200) down the floor seam then screw the trim down over top.

Here is how I secured the lower part of the Dog House, I really like these stainless steel barrel dead bolts.

The barrel is threaded, I just drilled a 1/2"hole in the deck, thread it with a 5/8x11 tap, coat the inside of the hole with 4200 and screw the barrel in.

Very nice Glen, by the way I also have cheap reading glasses every where, I loose them, I step on them, I break them, who cares their only a dollar, I don't need a hearing aid yet although some people might disagree on that.

Todays progress, The gunwalls had the teak step pads that ere cracked and very weathered. I looked at buying new ones and almost choked when I saw the price.

So with the Teak I purchased and didn't use I built a new set about twice as long and a little wider.

I also got them and the new ski locker cover Teak oiled.

I then mounted the rear transducer and the pito tube for the speedo and ran the wires and the tubing up to the helm. Then I had to come up with a way to mount the Humminbird, thank god for Lucky Lager cuze, I used and empty case for the pattern for the aluminum. The aluminum that is bend down in front of the FF is for the transducer switch to shift between the trolling motor and the rear transducer.

Thanks for the trim pics, DII. I keep looking in the metal section, I should look in flooring. I would ask if I could find an orange vest. Nice teak work. :thumb:

I get it. I have a pair in the bedroom, one in the kitchen, one by my chair in the living room, a pair in the dining room, one by the computer, one in the workshop, one in the shed and one in the car. Plus a few spares. I've been using reading glasses for years, yet I still never give them a thought when I go to do something until I can't see what I'm doing. Slow learner

Love those dog house bolt locks.

Very nice, how did you get the groves in the teak step pads, did they come like that or did you router them, also good idea for the fish finder and switch, I might have to do something like that for my fish finder as well kind of tight between my gauge cluster and windshield, at least if I have to make something I'll know what to use as a pattern, thanks Glen

No more glasses for me, not even for reading I had cataract surgery about 6 weeks ago. I can't believe how blind I was.

A lot of nice finishing touches. Drink more Lucky. Makes for good patterns.

Thanks, GA all the aluminum trim was in an end of isle display in the flooring, paneling section.

Thanks John, for the grooves in the teak, I just made three passes though the table saw to get them to the right width, then eased the edges with a round over bit in the router.

Glad the cataract surgery worked out well for you GA, boat building and Lucky just go hand in hand.
