You're heading south of the boarder again?

...that would explain the storm that's about to pound the midwest :lol

Drive safe! Looking foward to following the journey and resto!

I know you said you were planning on building up a stockpile of tinnie projects for retirement. What I want to know is does retirement begin when you stop going to work to collect paychecks or will it begin this winter when you get bored knowing you have a project (by fall it might be 2 or 3 or 4 or......:)) to keep your idle hands busy?

Have a safe and productive trip, Dozer. Don't forget to tip the border guards!

Lake is open and ice free, weather forecast for Saturday is Sun and cloud, high of 16c 64f for the US guys:rolleyes: winds around 20k, I'm working furiously on the bow bra, If I can get it done in time we will go to the big lake if not I think we will attempt the little guy carefully. Darcy (Naked Ladies owner) is coming for the splash and bringing her along. I'm hoping to gat a photo of the three SS's in a row 16' 18' and 20'.
PS I also got the wiring done with the disconnect switch for the tolling motor. I will pot up a pic and diagram when I get the chance.

Re: 1986 ss 201

Bow bra is 95% complete, I just have to add two straps in the opening between the bow stops, and pick up a couple 48" bungee cords for the center at the keel. I used a material that is brutally strong nylon with a fleese padding on the inside.

Making the pattern

Looks sharp Glen!! Dang, I've never seen a Bra on a boat before. I had one on an 87 dodge daytona...for a brief period of time  Is this your design/invention? You may want to file a disclosure!

Hey! Did you do any type of mechanical fastening of your flooring around the perimeter?

Hey DII - didn't you use "stone boards" on the Naked Lady trailer? I'm thinkin' this is a better idea.

I agree. The bra may lessen the damage from a rock strike....but I'm guessing that it won't prevent damage altogether.
