Re: 1987 merc 200 black max oil injection
Your problem probably has nothing to do with the oil injection. Early V-6's had rather free-breathing recirculation systems. There is a service bulletin that describes how to install restrictors in the bleed lines to reduce low RPM smoking and plug fouling. It works and it's cheap. Your injection system is set to run at 50:1 at WOT, and lean-out at lower RPMs. Premixing your gas at 50:1 will actually make your fouling problem much worse. Don't do it. You'll need to see a Merc or Mariner dealer for the parts and the information. I wish I could give you the bulletin number. Maybe somebody can... About a 1-beer job.

Could also be that some of your bleed check valves are clogged. Considering it's age, I'd consider it likely. You can replace them, but 99% of the time they can be cleaned with carb cleaner. You should ask about this at the same time. It's not that hard. You just have to remove them, clean them, and reinstall. About a 2-beer job.
