If i remember it was around 3... and with ur boat being a little bigger i would go with 3-4... you can always return one if its not used. I found the foam board worked a little better than the pool noodles due to our stringer set up unlike the starcrafts which have the stringers running in the other direction. For cutting i just used my jig saw and it went through like butter just be prepared to have you and everything near by covered in statically charged foam bits
EDIT: On a side note i know EZ and others have use a vinyl type material for floor and other areas which people really like. Can't remember the name of the stuff... maybe he'll chime in
