Today I found another thing that can not be swapped.
The brackets of the electrical connector and the oil monitor were fixed with the bolts of the intake manifold. The distance of the holes does not match the Vortec bolts distance. So will think of a different place where to mount this. Both do not neccessarily need to be mounted to the engine.
Is this for the cannon plug connector and circuit breaker?

I do not know if this is called a bullet plug. At my engine the main plug that connects the engine wiring harness to the rest of the boat electris is fixed to the engine with a bracket on rear starboard side.

The other bracket holds the oil reservoir for the stern drive.

The breaker is mounted to the bolts of the carburetor. So this will fit again.

I'll check out my setup when I get back to the boat, but also remembered that you need a new throttle bracket if you're going from a 2bbl carb to a 4 bbl
