Re: 1990 4.3 liter dies after about 30-45 minutes
Amazing, that I have a red and white 1990 Celebrity 3.0 and we are having the same problem at the same time lol. I took out the fuel pump bowl a couple of days ago and there was a good bit of trash in there and the filter spring was broke. I took off the filter on the Carb and there was trash in their too. I think mine came from sinking a few years back and nobody bothered to clean out the fuel pump. Because after it sank I used a mercury water seperator straight out of the gas tank and changed it every year. Had a starting problem due to the Carb problem and am waiting on a part so I can crank it and see if the cleanup fixed it.
