So I was oit in our boat this weekend. And after a little bit of driving I started to hear a fast beeping noise from the controls . It is not a constant beep. It is a fast beep. Which I have read is for over heating ? Is that correct. However. The engine dies not feel hot at all. Not one bit really. It still works great. Pops out of the water hard and fast. Does 44mph. And idles great. The two heads on the block feel warm sure. Bit not 212 degrees like the material I have read says that the temp switcjes in the heads will close ground and sound an alarm. So I feel like I have a BAD switch in the head. I guess my question is. Do these switches go bad from time to time. And are theyveasily replaced as well as how. It should also be noted that when I wiggle the wire it occasionally makes the beeping stop. As well as if I house my tilt trim. The buzzer stops until the trim stops. Any thoughts and or input would be appreciated.
P.s... I do still have a good solid per stream from tje motor. And it is not Hot at all..
