Good day, I have purchased this boat about 7 months ago or so and noticed that it sits low in the back. The transom had work done and it looks pretty heavey duty no doubt adding weight. My scupper drains were also below water line wich I have moved up and repaired the old holes. I have a 2021 yamaha f200xb and a new kicker on back. I cant move anything to lesson the weight . Now my boat has 2 floor storage boxes that I don't use and my question is this, if I seal them shut and add flotation foam will that help the back end come up.

No, adding foam, adds weight,.....

Weigh the boat, my guess is the foam already in it, has taken on water weight,....

There isn't any foam that I can see through the deck ports and nothing looks rotten or anything. I'm taking it to the water today and ill take a picture of the back once it's floating and post it. Maybe it's just my brain thinking it's low riding

Found a detailed description of yours. Interesting fact is it has deck scuppers. Does your bilge sump pump, empty the bilge completely ?

It had a 1994 yamaha 250 two stroke...blew that up...put on the 2021 f200...and the kicker is brand new. As for exact weights I don't know

Friend almost lost his brand new boat when the very low scuppers suddenly leakedin water. Zebra Mussels started to build up an hold open the lowest drain out Scupper flap. That became a common problem on New Trophy boats.

The picture should help. (y)
How were the underwater Scuppers sealed up or replaced with epoxy plates on the outside of the transom surface.

They were at were my finger is pointing. I took the rounds of what I drilled out for the new ones, wich was dry. And glued them into the old holes. 4 coats of fiberglass and matting. Then rubber sealant. Inside the boat i used 5200 to seal the spots

A friend had a older boat that would leak in water while docked. Pump would not tun on when it should have. Water built up. Then when was started. The float popped up and drained the bilge perfectly. We repaired the problem.
