Good day fellas...was thinking for a winter project possibly finding an offshore bracket or pod as there called. And bringing my transom up higher...any suggestions...good idea..bad idea?

Was a bracket an option on the boat?

If not, you could have structural issues (reinforced/bracketed transom) and or issues with the center a gravity moving that much weight aft.

Good point about moving to much weight...I'm not sure if a bracket was an option...probably not
