My 1995 175hp will not start after it has been propped up for 1 or 2 hours. I am loosing just about all fuel pressure in the primer bulb. When I pump it up and try to start it will crank and crank like its not getting fuel. Eventually it will crank about 1/4 turn and spit. It will do this back and forth and eventually start. It will run rough for a minute and then its ok. It will run and restart fine until you let it sit up. It runs fine other than this restarting problem. My local Johnson repair store is trying to tell me that its a starter/voltage problem and want to replace the starter. The problem was tolorable until I recently took it in for repair and now its three times as bad. I left the boat doctor and went staight to the dock and it would not start. Eventually after 5 min of cranking it started. They told me that it started fine for them every time. I put the motor down when I left it there and it did not get put in the up position until about 2 hours before I picked it up. It seems to be a fuel problem to me. HELP!
