After speaking with several people who should know, the reason my engine runs like crap at low speed is probably dirty or clogged jets in one or more of my carbs. How difficult is it to remove a carb and check the jets? What, exactly would I be looking for? The engine misses and runs rough at idle speed or slightly above. At mid speed or better, it seems to run fine. My local yard is willing to do the work, but they can't get to me for 3 weeks or so.
