True GT40 heads only came on 93 mustang cobras, and 93-95 ford lightnings from the factory and had 3 vertical bars on front of heads. Gt40p's have angled sparkplugs and came on explorers and are 61cc as opposed to 65cc which bumps stock compression ratio.

early V8 explorers as well. P's are for more common as I think the switch was in 1997

I got thinking about something, is this actually a budget build? Because after finding a motor and heads and having them machined, I still need to buy pistons, cam, lifters,intake, carb. It might be cheaper to buy a remanufactured motor. Than put the stuff from my old motor on it. Mind you I won’t get that kind of hp.
