early V8 explorers as well. P's are for more common as I think the switch was in 1997True GT40 heads only came on 93 mustang cobras, and 93-95 ford lightnings from the factory and had 3 vertical bars on front of heads. Gt40p's have angled sparkplugs and came on explorers and are 61cc as opposed to 65cc which bumps stock compression ratio.
