I have just aquired a 1996 Johnson 60hp outboard. The oil injection has been removed from motor previously. The oil inlet below the fuel hook up on motor is plugged, the 2 wires (brown and black) have been disconnected (I am guessing these are the wires from the oil tank I have been reading about) I have read that I need to disconnect the no oil warning buzzer from the pump. Where do I disconnect this buzzer, the pump looks to have 4 wires (brown, black, purple and grey) Which one controls this buzzer. I have also read about being careful not to disconnect the overheat buzzer. Any help would be appreciated.
