The oil pump pumps oil into the fuel line, just before the fuel pump. The oil/fuel mix is then pumped to the carbs.<br /><br />Each carb has a synchronization screw to sync the carb throttle plates. After the carbs are sync you should check full throttle opening, and oil pump sync. I would buy a manual from Mercury.
