I have a 200 v-pro that is new to me. I was trolling with it at low rpms, and the overheat alarm went off. It had a pee stream, although it was weak. I shut it off for about 20 minutes and the alarm went away, I ran it pretty hard after that with no problems. Any ideas??

Replace the water pump, thermostats, and clean and service the poppet valve. The recheck the motor.

pressure control valve is the typical suspect in low speed overheats on that engine but do like seahorse5 says and you should be good till next year.
