on the lake running fine, go to crank it, cranked and died, turn over again, depth finder flashed and i had no power. When i get home i found the 20 amp fuse beside the pdp was blown, i had 1 replacement, it instantly blew. While trouble shooting i was using 10 amp fuses, as soon as i would plug one in and turn the key, it would pop. On the pdp, the two power plugs on the left, looking at the circuit diagram the wire labeled B (fused b+ to filter module & key switch), i had found reasting against a bolt and rubbed insulation off the wire (shorting?), after i found this, it stopped blowing fuses, but still wont turn over.
i have replaced the ignition switch, no help, i have ckecked to neutral safety switch, its good.
When the ignition switch is in acc position, i have gauges, idiot light do their thing but the fuel pump dosnt come on.
Today i replaced the pdp, its used but i heard the motor run before it was pulled.
im starting to think EMM now, and i dont want to, hard to believe they would go like that, this motor has only seen fresh water.
