seahorse, they didn't "say" there was a problem...they showed it to me. It was an early production 2001 with a weak retainer that was replaced fairly quickly in production, but apparently some made it out the door with the inferior retainers. They showed me the ones that "were" on it, and I looked at the engine with the "newer" retainers installed. The Dillon dealership is on a first name basis with the Bomb because of constant testing at there facility, and I truely believe they are finding "some" problems that are being fixed before most dealers get any service info, or are even made aware of the problem if they get it caught before mass production begins, but they said they had modified 5 2001 production engines with new retainers that made it through.<br /><br />EDIT: And yes, I believe now there are no issues with 2001 injectors, and I was told there were very few of these engines with this problem, as he thought maybe 20-25 had the different retainers, and most, according to Bombardier, had been taken care of by them as they showed up.<br />This is what Dillon's tech told me.
