Re: 2002 Ficht EMM swap
Note that everything on the Ficht is activated by grounding the components.
By experience I found that most of intermittent problems that occurred, was due to broken/faulty ground connections somewhere.
It could be wiggly connections in the big plugs going into the ECM, or plain bad contact on engine ground connections.
In quite some cases induction from plug-wires into sensor wires totally messed it all up.Most commonly into the CPS sensor. Happened normally if a plug failed or fouled up.
Sometimes error code showed, sometimes not. In those cases the ECM had to be completely down powered before engine would restart.
