I Would love to see Lots of pictures, With Starcraft boats Cruising at wide open throtle..

here is a friend of mind doing about 25mph with a 1960 Glass boat. I will not be able to make the trip to Lake Anna,but I wish you all a safe and fun boating adventure

well guys, i just got a lead on a 22' islander for $400... if its not gone yet im going to get it, and that will take away from my trip money. but this is too good of a deal, so...

Now that's a deal Is it set up for an OB or is it an I/O? Don't post a link to the ad until after it's yours, people will snipe it away possibly.

If you can't make it to Tinstock that is the best possible excuse to have!

Good luck, and hopefully you will get the 85hp running, sell your 50hp and still have cash for Lake Anna

its an ob... no motor. if i bought this it would most likely be a few year project. but for the money, even if the *gasp* gash in the hull is beyond repair, the trailer is good and thats alot of aluminum to sell for scrap.

well my wife and i have spent the past half hour discussing it and decided that i will either have enough money to go to tinstock without the boat, or fix what i need to fix... and we both agree that the money is better spent on getting the boat tip top so we all can enjoy it. i know it sounds like im making it out to be worse than it is, but realisticly i have $500 for the trip, and right now the trailer needs about $200 worth of repairs to make the trip. if i dont make the trip than i dont need to replace the tires or shocks right away, saving me about $175...

so we decided to take the money i saved and put it into the boat. it sucks, i really wanted to go, but its all about the benjamins, baby.

Well Crap,

SWIMBO Decided that 10-1/2 hrs in a ford explorer plus stops with a 3 year old and a 6 month old breastfeeding baby, followed by 3 days of boating with the kids, and then the return trip wouldn't be such a great idea. She is willing to compramise and giveme those 3 days at a condo with a pool and marina at Brookville Reservoir in Indiana (only 2-3/4 hrs by car and babysitting is available). Seems I will be fishingfor striped bass instead.

Crap squared It looks like my wife may not play either even without any kids. But if there is not a hurricane other major event I will be there.

4. Gather left over restore stuff to share
5. Get beer
6. Leave

Yes it's looking like a pretty big bust. The Tim Fives family and my family are definitely coming as we have a house reserved. Going to be a great weekend getaway regardless.

Oh man, I had such hopes to see a bunch of boats and make new in person friends. I am 2 days away and need to give some thought to the trip with so few attendees. Bummer......got to sleep on it.

We rented a sweet house on the lake so it's going to be a great vacation for us regardless. Getting to meet North Beach and see Liquid Limo in person will be a nice bonus. Plus it's under 5 hours for us. I certainly wouldn't hold it against you if you bailed.
