Pulled my thermostat housing off and there are 2 t-stats - the upper one has some sort of spacer to hold it in position - Like a tin looking ring. Well, It was coroded pretty good and got bent up while removing the t-stat.
Where can I get a replacement and what is it called? Also, The t-stats look different than the standard automotive type, Are they different?
Also - Are there supposed to be 2 thermostats - I looked in the book and it looks like there is only one - It ran fine and the temps were fine, Just checking to see if this is correct. There was one directly in the top if the intake manifold and then one in the housing with the spacer.
Freshwater cooled engine BTW. Boat is a Sea Ray Seville 210MC - 260 Mercrouser (350) and a Alpha 1 OD.
Thanks
