next is to close up and finish the bilge and stern, which involves finishing the second leg, getting the steering hooked up, getting the throttle cables hooked up, making sure all systems are working on the bridge including starting from the bridge, installing second blower, cleaning up the wiring, and trimming the floor to fit around the new engines...

then interior
then bottom paint and hull cleanup

then it will hit the water

Brett leaned a little to hard against the controls on the bridge while the engines were running...

well, if you guys are wondering, im working full time again this year, and only have monday/tuesday off... so thats when you will see the updates for the most part. I am going to call the local mercruiser dealer tomorrow and order some parts to try to get both engines puring like kittens...

wont be any updates this week because i will be out of town for my days off....

well, i got a little done today, was planning on working on it yesterday as well, but Brett decided to blow up his brakes on his jeep, so we spent the better part of yesterday fixing that.....

both engines are now starting from the helm. had some continuing troubles with the starboard not wanting to rev, ended up rebuilding the carb a second time and got it...

Those outdrives look pristine, you should be able to turn on a dime with that setup.

well, im not going to get much done on the boat this week...

Fire started in the maintenance room below the marina office where i was working. Not sure how the fire started yet, only makes sense that it was something electrical. No one was hurt and we all got out, pretty extensive fire damage to the maintenance room, One wall of the marina office is pretty badly burnt, the rest of the office is toast from the water and smoke...

Spent the day today boarding up the side of the wall that the firefighters ripped out to get the fire out, and shoveling out the marina office...

well, got the throttle linkages done today, port engine is running perfect and is ready to get wet..... starboard is close behind.... gotta clean up the wiring still......

well, another summer gone, another boatless summer unfortunatly this summer was WAY to busy.. both Brett and I worked at least full time, if not more at times, and neither of us shared days off. So the boat has unfortunatly suffered another summer of minimal work.

this was a busy summer for all of us in the industry.

but on a side note......you guys are doing a great job. the boat is looking great with the vp sticking out the back.

the engine compartments look good and organized.

winterizing will only be a month or two for you, so you will be busy.....but there will be a long lag time between sept 15 till winterizing season comes

I vacationed too much It's a different kind of problem entirely. I'll get to the boat yet. Doing the deck in Durabak tomorrow.
