350 merc efi idle problem

04 350 mag mpi will not idle. voltage is okay. will start with throtle open and runs fine.

Hi Dusty,... Welcome Aboard,.. again,..

Being an electronic motor, you'll have some issues I can't help you with....
But,...
1st place to start is to insure you're getting a good clean fuel supply,...
In other words,... Check the Filters....

Some of the other guys will be along, with some pointers on testing the Electrical side of things...

First, head up to the Adults Only sticky at the top of this forum, go to the service manual links and download manual #36.
Familize yourself with the tools and expuipment necessary to check out an MPI engine.
Then head to section 2A.
Starting following the charts from page 2A-8 through 2A-11. If you still have problems after checking those items, move on to chart A-12 on page 2A-33.

Thanks for the advice. I will check out the manuals section. Sorry about the newby hi-jack earlier. I always learn the hard way........
