Great news. And yes, a loose fuel filter could allow air to be sucked in and cause issues. So, no need for new thread for “no start” condition.

How is are the wiring issues that started this thread working out? All set?
I just posted a reply to @alldodge about the ran/black wire. I think it goes to the oil pressure switch but I can’t find said switch.

Either Teed with oil pressure sensor or look below the Dizzy and it might be there on the rear deck. If there is just a plug filling hole then switch was left out

Oil pressure switch is right above the oil filter - or if you have a remote oil filter, above where the adaptor attaches to the block.

Yes but the oil pressure gauge sensor is normally there. Does the oil pressure gauge work?

If it does than sensor is elsewhere

Yes it works but it’s a little jumpy. I was thinking of starting a new thread to figure that out. This is the sensor next to the distributor, right?

This is the fluctuating I was referring to. I can hear a very slight change in the sound of the motor when it’s spiking but I’m not sure if that sound comes through on the video.

Correct
It works the same there as down by the filter

I don't see an issue, might just be a loose connection
