So I'm ordering a long block from Rapido Marine.

They are verifying which motor I have and at the end of the conversation, I'm getting a "090" motor...

I think this is referring to the casting number.

Is this the casting number on the block?

The motor being replaced is listed in my sig for reference.

TIA

Ayuh,... I'm guessin' the #s cast into the aft, portside, upper corner of the block, End with 090...
Right behind the head, under the wiring harness....

Yeah I saw all the info on the site. I talked to him. Its just my way of checking what he's saying to make sure this goes as seemless as possible.

And for that matter proving it to myself...
Maybe I'm over thinking it...but I only want to put one motor in the boat if possible...

I didn't get a chance to go check the casting # in the motor in the boat. I'll try and get by there tomorrow.
