I’m a bit confused what you mean by spacer, do you have a pic please? Are you talking about putting a verticle spacer On that bigger post after I ream the end?

And my current cable end does have some spring back, If that means anything.

What do you think about the first pin post where My plastic thing would just sit on top of the end of arm with pin through it?

Now just to make a real plate.that wasn’t to bad, very relieved. Trim senders next. Find #1 cyl. Then drop distributer and run plug wires. install new trim pump assembly. I’ll prob have to modify.
and tune up outdrive.

Thanks, It was working good until I decided to replace the Bellows and a lower shift cable. cable is next on list followed by trim pump install.

To do list kept getting longer,
now it’s gradually decreasing.😎
