Yes.. I actually have a question - becuse this is no tthe type of motor I usually deal with.

2001 60ELPT BF (Big Foot) Serial OT293630P

As I understand the operation - when choking for cold start an AC voltage is applied to the enricher valve unit (via the ECM) to RAISE the valve needle out of it's seat and let some extra fuel spill into the works. Same if you depress the choke button via the key.

I popped it out and cannot see ANY movement when cranking the beast cold - with or without the choke button.
I'll note that the unit ohm's out fine via it's two blk/yel wires, and moves freely by hand.

I'm suspecting the ECM - but I want a second opinion - and a correct method to test the enricher, if any.

Push to choke feature does NOT operate the enrichner on these motors. Enrichner recieves power when motor is running only, from the stator. Remove the enrichner. Let it sit to obtain room temp. Apply twelve volts, and you should SLOWLY see the pintle retract as the wax in the body is heated up. There is no "clicky, clicky" with these critters. Good luck.

Actually the wax heating up expands (of course) extending the pintle to close the enricher needle valve.
