Hey guys, and gals. I'm a newbie, been checking out some of your posts over the last month or so. Some of you really know your stuff, i hope to benefit from your knowledge.... Ok, went to pick up this 21' Chieftan, 165 Mercruiser, this past week from my dad's old friend. It hasn't seen water in about 20 years but dad cranked it last fall. That's when they found out the manifold had a crack in it. They found a good used manifold but didn't get it put on, too heavy for two old guys to lift that high, so they say. As of today i have $200 in it, (wheels and tires for the 400 mile haul), glad that's done. I'll attempt to attach some pics and see what your thoughts/advice are for the project. Thanks for all that have input. cj
