De-carbed engine last night on hose. Let her run 15 0r 20 minutes to burn up most of gallon of gas heavy with seafoam, sometimes rev'ed up 3/4 throttle. After I shut her down, I noticed the shaft was very hot. I could put my hand on it but barely.
Did I damage anything  or is this normal when on hose?
Thanks

You should not run any two stroke engine higher than 1500 RPM with no load; the chances of a runaway are too great.

What is the "shaft" that you refer to?

yup, all that hot exhaust will heat the exhaust housing up I mean HOT. Gets pretty hot during normal operation, too but it's surrounded by water.
