I think Air Canada will be ok if you are using it for mob related activities. They will need to keep it in the cockpit until after the flight. Definitely no torches though.

Can you be more specific HA, I need to book the flight! And Sprinter, is Air Canada OK for me to bring my fork as carry-on? :p :D

Stupid rain. First good weather day and she gets splashed. All electrical connections on gauges have been tightened as well as tightened fuel connections, etc. Going to fill the tank tomorrow, etc.

I copied the firmware for the fishfinder from the Humminbird site onto the sd card and popped it into the unit. On power up it very quickly prompted for the update, confirmed it and away she went from version 4 to 6+. Seems to be working much better as originally it though I was in 6 ft of water and moving 1.5 mph in the driveway. I'll give feedback once I get out on the water this week.

68 litres of gas equals 18 US Gallons. All tanked up over here with Shell premium that contains no ethanol. Gas guage reads full so my wiring, etc is working. Filled the fuel fillter/water separator with fuel so the fuel pump is pulling gas instead of air.

Hooked it up on the muff for a short period of time and she runs like a top. Touched the key and the boat starts and runs perfectly. Checked the gas lines for any leaks leading up to and out of the filter and there isn't even a hint of gas. All ready to rock and roll over here. I'll take the camera out even if she is out for a short run... I'm hoping tomorrow after work even if it is for an hour as the weather sucks for the next couple of days.

It is alive. Maiden voyage pic. No leaks, 36 MPH but the idle speed is too high...about 1200+ rpm. Went to Lake Wabamun which is about 45 minutes away. Ran the boat for maybe a half hour or so, loaded it back up and made it home to cut the grass before it rained. Trailer worked great as well and the rain off the road on the way back stayed in the wheel wells so even the fenders are bang on. The video is loading so it will be posted in a few minutes. I haven't even really watched it yet. The neighbor ran the camera so it's about 230mb.

You had a good day, sprint. Splash and mow - Now that's a combo. LOL. Congrats on a no leak splash and @36 mph you have her running pretty good. Speaking of pretty, the Holiday sure is - in manly way of course. :D

Thanks guys. Definitely a good day. Video is still loading via Photobucket and is at 20%. Might take a couple more hours at this rate.

Hopefully I can make it to one of the Starcraft get togethers one day or at least somewhere central where we can all go grab a beer.

What, no YeeHaw or Wahoo? And no fish pics? All you did was drive around before those storm clouds caught you. Just joshin'. She looks and sounds great. You're gonna have a lot of fun in her. Really nice, sprint. Really nice. :D

Yeah. I look like a murderer. The first thing the wife asked was why I was so serious. Just wanted to get out there and run it quick before I got poured on.

Next trip will either be Sylvan lake or Cold Lake for a fishing trip with fish pics :)

Thanks again guys. Already looking forward to tearing the dash down in the fall and custom bending an aluminum dash and glove box area.

Hopefully I'll get some huge lake trout pictures posted soon :) Just want to get out on a nice quiet day and just veg out.

Gongrats on the splash. This is wicked bizzar..... We splashed on the same day, both have high idle issues and both were dodging rain clouds. Heck when I got home I almost mowed the lawn. No kidding!

Great boat and that engine sounds sweet. Enjoy!!!

Great job Sprint, looks super on the water. With this stinking weather we are having this summer it is tough to get an opening long enough to get on the water.
