On behalf of my penny-wise, pound-foolish boating bud. His old roller arm cut-out switch is bad, and he shifts w/o the cut-out function because he is too cheap the buy the $116 807962A15 riveted old switch/plate assy. I keep telling him he is in for big repair$ if he doesn't fix that function.
Does anyone out there have experience with drilling out the old roller arm switch, and drilling/tapping in the new slotted adjustable $41 87-8M0052936 plunger switch? Heck, I'd do the layout and drill press work over the winter for him just to save him from the costs if he doesn't fix it.
