Re: '84 Wellcraft Repairs and Paint SPLASHED
The subs aren't enclosed yet. The enclosures will be built into the bench seat, but I worked right up til time to go to work, and didn't have time to build them. Shouldn't take long make them, but I wanted to make sure I had working tunes before going back on night shift. Dang it BiggerBO, your first question is always about the one thing I haven't done yet.
My inspiration for getting the stereo put in came from some folks we were sharing the beach with last weekend. This was a family of six, mom and dad looked to be about 45, two teenage daughters, and two kids about 10-12 years old. We had 4 kids with us from 4-10 years old. The folks we were sharing the beach with decided to crank up some hip-hop to about 120 decibels. There was some song about double Ds and daisy dukes, which we thought was quite inappropriate for the kiddos, and just way to loud. So I figured if I already had some good tunes playin when everybody else shows up, then we won't have to suffer through their crappy music.
They can take that junk and go to the party beach with all the drunk college kids, or at least put in some non-offensive music fit for young ears.
