Hi all,
Well as some of you very well know, I have a promblem with my transom leaking. Well after many tests, I found out that my transom is rotting. I was able to tighten all of my transom mounting bolts and stop the leak. I can tell that I will need to do something about the transom wood, but I think I am going to wait until fall or winter. Has anyone ever had a similar problem like this? What do you think about not replacing the transom right now and waiting? Lastly, what should be used for transom wood? At my work we can special order Marine Grade plywood, is it worth it?
Thanks,
Steve
