I was thinking the tongue weight might be a little light as it started swaying - however, I'd bet just shy of that 800-1000 lbs you mention.... It was smooth as glass stable until the combo of wet, uneven (read had more waves in it than the atlantic), and rutted portions of pavement. Probably only ran into sway for about 1/2 mile - at best. Also - the rear suspension set down about the same as if I were hauling 1/2 ton of soil (don't ask how I know - other than it's only been a couple weeks since I had to do so
