Re: 89 Starcraft Mariner 210 CC Rebuild

thats a cool boat what size is it it appears to be a 18'

I'd kindof like to know the wieght of the stripped Starcraft then decide on the size of the motor for my desired top speed of 60knots.

That Lund is 20 feet 10 inches,.....

I would think a 115 on the Starcraft would be sufficient,.....

Re: 89 Starcraft Mariner 210 CC Rebuild

so a 900LB hull w/ a 300LB motor 115 HP would go 60knots. I have read a little about calculating boat speed it's kindof confussing. I won't ask about calculating speed.

?1.do you think a 140HP would be even faster? I'm thinking yes but not much more, and the tradeoff $ &more fuel would make the 115 more senseable, my desired 60knots is the main issue.

?2.what is the towing tounge weight for a boat this size?

?3.is the bow casting stand a structale part of the bow?

?4. the new Evinrude fuel delivery sys. ETEC is this still a caburated engine?

?5.for a 1200LB boat w/ a 115HP 2 stroke at wide open throttle how many gallons of fuel is used per hour?
