I just bought three 9.8 motors two late 60's and one 70 model. One of the late 60's motors runs great but everything else is shot. One is incomplete, may some good parts. And one is really nice but it has the thunderbolt ign and it looks burnt up. What I want to do is take the good running powerhead off and put it on the nice burntup motor. The running motor has the plug wires coming from under the the flywheel and the other is the thunderbolt ign. At a glance it looks like everything is the same except the ign. If this will work, is there anything to look out for when swapping the powerheads, like "secret things"? I am a auto mechanic and have tinkered with outboards, so I think I would understand any imput.<br />Thanks, Chris
