I've recently acquired an evinrude 9.9. Model number is 10824M. I've done everything I know how to do within my power and she still won't fire up. Compression reads 100 x 2. The fuel system is spotless, new fuel lines everywhere, and all new electronics. I've checked the flywheel key and nothing is out of order there. The electronics under the flywheel has been changed since they were pretty inexpensive. I've got a crisp blue spark across my spark board at over 1/2 inch. Spark plugs have been changed and I'm getting almost 250 volts out of the coils. The carb has been removed and a new rebuild kit installed even though it was spotless. It won't even try to start, even after getting desperate enough to use starting fluid. I've used starting fluid into the carbs, and removed the plugs and gave it a shot right into the cylinders. I know this isn't ideal for the cylinders, but I was grasping at straws. I've been at this too long and am reaching out for help. Any suggestions?
