This motor was given to me as a result of an estate settlement therefore I have no history of the motor. When I started it up, no water came out of the pee hole. I rebuilt the water pump (impeller was bad), still no water. Checked lines and water tube, no obstructions. Does this engine have to run a while before the thermostat opens or does water come out of the pee hole when you first start the motor? Should I replace the thermostat or is there something else I should check.
