I am new to this forum and this is my first i/o. The first time I run the boat it was acting sluggish and stalling out. I checked the fuel and it had water and trash in the gas so I drained and cleaned the gas tank, replaced the fuel filter and had the mercarb rebuilt. On the second trip out it was running a lot better for the first 10 minutes then died. After letting the motor cool off about 10 min it will crank back up but will only for about 30 seconds then it will die again. A friend of mine with a 99 bayliner that has the same motor says it might be the coil. From what I have found a new coil costs about $215 so I figured I would ask around before I start spending a bunch of money. Any info will sure help and thanks in advance
