I can?t seem to get my 1997 Johnson 90HR engine running this spring. I took it out of storage and tried to get it started but it seems like it isn?t getting any fuel. Added some fresh fuel. Primer bulb was stiff, so I replaced it and the fuel filter. Disconnected the fuel line to the VRO and fuel running through the filter fine. Disconnected the fuel line from the VRO to the carbs and fuel running through the VRO fine when I pump the primer bulb. Replaced the spark plugs. Old ones had carbon but were dry. Tested the spark to each cylinder and there is spark at each one. Removed the carbs and cleaned those up, but they were really not that bad. Any other ideas? Engine ran fine when I winterized it last year.

A good spark should jump a half inch gap...find a way to test create that gap or buy a spark gap testerS G T.jpeg

You can buy an open air gap spark tester in most parts houses for around $8.00
