1) I understand I need to disconnect the ?Fast Start? and want to see what is the best means to do this. Looking at the diagram the Yellow/Red wire should I disconnect this from the solenoid or can I simply unplug the connector (Yellow/Black; Brown; White/Black; Yellow/Red) ?
2) I don?t have a spiffy multi-cylinder spark tester.. Was thinking on a more simple alternative, leave the plugs in the boot with a hose clamp firmly around the threads. Wire lead up under the hose clamp with nice alligator clip that will clamp onto head bolt.
I just put a new power pack and the last thing I want to do is fry it.. Motor is new to me, still working out the glitches. Idle timing was way off reason I want to check WOT timing.
Thanks,
Fred
